It takes more than one year to turn around a program I've coached for 30 years and I know you can't fire a guy over one year of being a coach and when I read this and saw that it's not a team but a family that means a lot as a coach I would definitely look forward to bringing this guy back for another year or two and then make your decision

This coach means a lot to the football team. It hurts my heart to hear that another good coach was let go due to unknown circumstances. I hope you can bring him back.

As a coach for this program in previous years, I’ve known these kids since they were freshman and the struggles they have been through since they joined the program. Another coaching change is just going to make it harder for them and lead to another losing season for the program. If you truly want to build up this program, let him build it.

Coaching football is more than a job for Coach. His love and leadership extends beyond the grid iron. His selfless love is needed for the team and the community. As a friend and former colleague of his, I’ve seen him build community among players and students in ways I’ve never seen before. He is the best man for the job.
