Someone please tell me how shooters are going to distinguish bucks from does, at night when bucks have already shed? Also where can I find a reputable deep population study

It is so ridiculous to have this cull when so many are willing to manage the problem for free!

This is redicules let the hunters take care of the situation. open a longer deer season open up land bank and wild life sanctuaries. Allow archery hunters to hunter a 150ft buffer rather than a 500 ft. we cant allow white buffalo to conduct this horriable tactic of culling the deer heard. Think about these guys are gonna be in your back yards were your kids and pets play and set up baiting sites for the deer then shoot them with high powered rifles at night this is so dangerous and is not ethical in any way.

as an environmental expert and energy engineer the current plan is a band-aid that will do nothing more than provide short term results. A more sustainable approach is required for maximum effectiveness and environmental health. Additionally, hunting for many NY families is a very big part of their heritage. These families and individuals are not taken into account with the government's existing plan.

Controlled hunting with more progressive regulations could help this situation and not cost taxpayers funds to be "Wasted"
