Why pay snipers while us hunters will ethically hunt the deer if the govt would allow is to and stop making it harder by making all these crazy laws and taking away our nuciance permits in sept etc. let us as hunters do the job It is our right as we pay our license fees and spend all kinds if money on equipment to harvest deer.

The deer here are not going to be slaughtered by some federally appointed sharp shooters. We have plenty of very proficient bow and gun hunters here on Long Island. That will do the job just as well and FREE! This should have been brought up for a vote and discussion. Not just by a few appointed officials and local biologists. The hunting public here should be a huge factor in how to deal with our supposed burgeoning deer population!

Let the hunters take care of it. Heres a tip: Legalize crossbow, see how many more hunters participate in the hunt!
