I have spent many a happy hour in the De Winton. With all places of social gathering getting less and less its a shame to close this one, especially for means of obvious profit .Again our modular of democracy shows its true meaning profit before the wants of the local people. As many people have pointed out the De Winton go's back many generations not just within ours, why not leave it for next generation to enjoy as much as my generation did.

A lovely old pub with history going back to the days when it stabled horses for the village pit. That has gone, don't let this community facility go the same way.

The de Winton Hotel is a piece of history that needs to be preserved. The locals need to retain facilities such as this to keep a sense of community.

I think its disgusting that they are trying to close down a friendly pub that is great for the community not only that the family that runs the pub have made a big change and is always keeping the customers that comes in very happy

worked and been brought up up in this building since a very young age and its a big part of the community would be a shame to see it pulled down for more housing

Stop outsiders buying a local pub, still serving beer, knocking it down, to build houses, purely for profit, with no consideration for or to the people who use it. Just shows contempt and arrogance together with greed of these people.

TRAFFIC CONGESTION, NOISE, SITE ACCESS PROBLEMS, TO NAME JUST A FEW. MORE IMPORTANTLY THE RESIDENTS OPPOSE THIS PROPOSAL.

I don't think this landmark of Llanbradach should be knocked down, however the two monstrous pieces of so called art the two vulgar looking towers one in the car park the other on the opposite side of the road should be pulled down. Whoever thinks they are art needs glasses.

As an ex resident of Llanbradach I feel the loss of the De Winton in favour of more houses is wrong. There will be no public house at that end of the village and the village already has a huge traffic problem. No more developments, Please

What a pity! The hard working people who run this pub have brought a community spirit back to the village. With quiz nights etc. Lovely food, beer garden. Not only that they are a tremendous support raising money on charity nights for local people. Support when there is a bereavement with buffet and flowers. Please think again people of the village need a heart don't take this one!

It would be a very sad day if this pub was knocked down I've got a lot of good memories there including working there for 25 years and still go and enjoy a drink there please keep this pub open

I have seen many pubs closed in small villages where all that's left is a void that will never be filled leaving all but memories that fade with time . The De Winton us part of Llanbradach history and should remain so . It's the people's pub let it live .

It would be very sad if it went. I am married with three children, and we are always welcomed. We live on dewinton terrace, and it is already a nightmare with traffic without adding to the existing problem.

This village needs a substantial investment into its traffic needs before fjtthwr housibg and traffic to block it even further
