It is an absolute disgrace the way Cliff Richard- a British Icon- has been treated! He deserves a public apology from the BBC and the Police which should be broadcast all day as the raid on his property was!

I think the way Sir Cliff has been treated is disgusting.He has worked so hard to entertain his fans, and has brought many people to the Christian faith. He should be publicly thanked for his life's work, not villified as he has been.

The BBC always had my respect as a true and honest news media, this has now gone forever after this terrible and shameful witch hunt that the BBC have done. Shame on you as the Chairman and on your news reporters.

My husband wrote to the bbc to complain about the way Sir Cliff was treated saying that their reporting was nothing short of disgusting and very much like something you would expect from the now extinct News of the World type of reporting.
