i think its unfair to leave cliff richard hanging around and give him his life back and someone to say sorry until they have all the facts they should of treated cliff wid more care until they had all the evidence i think you find this is a witch hunt just because cliff keeps himself to himself not give him justice please and clear the crap that have bin said about him

I can not understand what takes so long in these cases. It is good to let Cliff know that he has strong support knowing he is innocent

I think it is about time this nonsense came to an end. Admit your mistakes and publicly apologise to this dignified, polite, charming man. The way things have been handled is pathetic. Finish it, admit he has done nothing wrong and try and put all right again if you can.

Disgraceful behaviour towards a man that has has done so much for the U.K. through his music, his career and fans throughout the world. Whoever it is who has accused him of this false claim...let him be named. Cliff is innocent...he isn't. Things have gone very quiet for a time now....the Police and the BBC know they have messed up and are hiding behind their guilt. Come on lets get this cleared up and lets see the name of those in the wrong and be accounted for. Justice for Cliff!

It's unbelieveble how Cliff is treated by the police and BBC. The least they can do is to offer their excuse but that hasn't happened yet and I wonder if it will.

have read Andrew Prentice's comments and can only say what amazing words I don't think I could have said any better 100% for Cliff and yes let's have an apology from the BBC and start playing Cliffs songs as well that's the least they could do

Thank you for all the wonderful years you have filled with love happiness through your music Sir Cliff. I'm sooo sorry that a country you have lived in and supported for most of your life has treated you with no respect at all you deserve much better and l hope once this is settled you will be publicly apologized to. I know that will be of little consolation to you and l wish that there was a way to put this wrong right but unfortunately we can not undo what has been done and said. Keep your head high Sir Cliff you have no reason to hide xx

No matter what the situation is, substantiation is the key when it comes to media reporting of incidents where allegations are made. Yes, perhaps report that something has happened and why, but we should not know who the subject of the incident is at this stage.
