Don't take your own healthcare too lightly. If you think one day, when you fall sick, you want to let someone without medical training to treat you, then go ahead and approve this rang. If one day your child fall sick, and your are confident someone with no medical training va give proper advise to save your child, then please proceed and agree.

pharmacists are members of healthcare professionals, do not deny their rights in ensuring patient's safe use of drugs. Doctors prescribe, pharmacists dispense and reviews the medication use.

I'm a pharmacy student, strongly against these rule, if it is not mandatory to state indication / diagnosis, anyone could come and buy any drugs and drug abuse will be everywhere, if pharmaceutical compounding is done wrong, who would be responsible since anyone could do it, what if the doctor doesn't collect enough history and doesn't know much about DDI of psychotropic medicines with other drugs that the patient is currently taking and what if the doctor make mistakes overdosing the patient, what if juruteknologi farmasi has done something wrong, who should take the responsibility?
WHAT CAN A PHARMACISTS DO IN MALAYSIA ? PHARMACY STUDENTS SPENT 4 YEARS OF SWEAT AND MIDNIGHT OIL, AND THE EXPENSIVE TUITION FEES TO LEARN AND DO THINGS THAT NON-PHARMACIST (WITH NO KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE AT ALL) CAN DO ?

The healthcare system works best with teamwork. It is not a one man show! Pharmacists job is not to point out doctors' mistakes but to improve medication safety and reduce medication errors. DO NO HARM!

The latest RUUF draft fails to provide sufficient protections to the patients' / consumers' rights and interests. And it does not help in the development of the pharmacy profession.
