We have our right to know what exactly the medicine is indicated for. Malaysia is one of the developing countries, which excel in all the fields especially education. We are the educated population with rational judgement in the indication mentioned on prescriptions. We need pharmacist to help busy prescriber to filter or screen the prescription in order to reduce possible medication error. I believe Malaysia has reached sufficient amount of pharmacist to reduce the workloads of prescriber, which in turn provide optimum pharmaceutical care to the public.

The new ruuf is making the system loose and prone to errors. It is making the system being monopolised by certain profession. Why cant we adapt the system that was implimented in developed nations instead of submitting ourselves to an age old practice that is in need of a revamp.

Pharmacist should not be underrated as in term of professional health care. They are people who pursued great knowledge in drugs and whole things that related, hence the privilege of dispensing should have been given to them.
