Compounding is the core specialization of a pharmacist. How can they even suggest a person who is not professionally trained to compound drugs? Do they think we are baking cookies? Even as cookies go, not everyone is able to bake a perfect cookie let alone compounding a ratio appropriate drug with various excipients.

Our priority is patients. With RUUF, I afraid about the patient safety. Doctors and pharmacist have to work together and know each other responsibilities.

The newly proposed Rang Undang-undang Farmasi (RUUF) has many loopholes for medical errors, and could really put the health of patient at risk.
A single medication may have multiple indications, and for different indication, it has different dose & frequency. Without the indication written down, no one can be sure what the drugs is used for, and this leads to potential medical errors.

Pharmacy Act is there to make healthcare system better to both patient and pharmacist, now and future.. But I don't see it how the new RUUF are going to bring the profession better, nor enhancing the healthcare overall.
Imposing Changes is suppose to make things better, not otherwise. If the change is only to make it worst, don't change.

I feel that doctors have never studies compounding as much as we do, why is it should we passvthe compounding rights to them when we havent event gotten out dispensing rights? We specialize in drugs, they specialize in diagnosis. Its absurd to give them compounding rights. I am currently a pharmacists student and this issue greatly concerns me.

I m deeply upset by the decision of MOH who suppose to put the safety and health of the public as priority. MOH has made decision not based on scientific evidence and journals to support the action. MOH has neglected our role as pharmacist as part of the healthcare professional team.

Our country's vision is to have sufficient pharmacists to meet the correct ratio of pharmacists:patients. So as to give quality healthcare to all our rakyat. Now that we are almost meeting the ratio, RUUF is taking away the dispensing responsibilities of pharmacists and pass them to those less qualified to do the job. Isn't this against our country vision towards a developed nation?
