this law is unfair for pharmacists as they also play important role in ensuring patient safety about medications. this law makes the job scope of pharmacist become limited.

This is ridiculous. The healthcare system should be safe but getting more dangerous right now because wrong people who dispense the medicine.

What's the need of Juruteknologi Farmasi (who work under the supervision of pharmacist and doctors) to compound and dispense medication when pharmacists can actually do it? It just does not make sense. Both having the same roles, just with different names. That is just too funny. More effort is needed, please, to construct a better bill. And why is it not approving dispensing rights for pharmacist? Doctors are charging patients more than a pharmacists do. Does the bias towards doctors outweigh the benefits for the patients? Doctor prescribe, pharmacist dispense. Doctors are experts in diagnosis and pharmacists are experts in medication. I do not see why doctor have to interfere with pharmacist's job scope. There are so many wonderful examples out there showing that dispensing separation improves the overall healthcare of nations who practice it and our current healthcare body insist on rejecting dispensing rights, this just shows the reluctance of our healthcare system to improve. We are in the 21st century; not like before when everything was dependent solely on doctors. Time has changed. The system needs a change, too. A positive change.

Pharmacist is meant to be a profession that safeguards patients' wellbeing. The new pharmacy bill doesnt reflect the current needs of healthcare by not enhancing pharmacy as a primary care and thus minimizing the role of pharmacist to the lowest extend.

What's the point of us learning pharmacy if the right goes to someone else?! They don't have to take the course yet will be able to do a pharmacist's job? What are we suppose to do then?
