I protest RUUF because it does not give check and balance in handling of medicine. Patients safety is at risk. The good system will be dispensing separation.

The role of pharmacist to double check the prescription of medicines by doctors to ensure appropriateness of prescription, safety as well as patient counselling on their medication to achieve patient compliance is totally disregarded and sidelined. Medical care is teamwork not a one-man-show but the proposed RUUF is allowing professionals without proper training to do the job while trained professionals not being given the task they are trained for. It is as if RUUF has been drafted by those who have no idea of the development of medicinal care especially in the handling of drugs with no signs of progress into better healthcare Malaysian citizens by implementing dispensing separation which is currently practised in all developed countries but in fact had suggested a system which is even worse then the current Act which was in force since 1950s. It is a total disappointment.

Doctors have been given the privilege to prescribe their own drugs and its not fair to put fellow pharmacist to redundant.

What's the use of a pharmacist then when you're giving all our rights away?!

I strongly support this petition. Please give us back the dispensing rights, we have more than enough registered pharmacists to implement that.

i am from diploma pharmacy and will continue in pursuing degree in pharmacy. The pharmacist are practising and the one who are the one fully learning with dosage regimen of the medications and consultations on taking meds to the patients. Doctors are the one who will be diagnose the patients and prescribed the meds that should be given to the patients. They are not powerly and fully learned about the whole drugs itself about the components and the chemical in the drugs itself will give results to the patient's body until the doctor open their own clininic.

Such regulations will further sabotaj our rights as a pharmacist & bringing pharmacy career development backward instead. Physicians who aren't a well trained in these fields couldn't provide proper care for the patients & would cause more harm than benefit to them.

This will really hurt the local Malaysian. In developed countries they separate the dispenser from the prescriber in order to avoid a conflict of interest, that is, a financial incentive that will result in doctors giving out medications to patients who don't need it because they will receive more money for doing so
