Let the pharmacists do their job, they are the expert in ensuring the right drugs and medications are prescribed and dispensed correctly. Pharmacists are the one that are professionally trained to ensure medication errors can be reduced and prevented. Us as pharmacy students as well are doing our best to continue serving the best for our patients later. Let's ensure that our healthcare guidelines are not being jeopardize. Thank you.

I strongly disagree with this as this will not only effect the pharmacist but all health care professions. Drugs are to be controlled and used wisely. Compounding by untrained people may increase the risk of sickness in malaysia as they are not trained to prepare it.

It's really a backward move in terms of practices & safeguarding the interest of the public. Pharmacy practices in any parts of the world are moving towards professional care with greater responsibilities and well define role not to be handled by non-pharmacist.

This rang undang does not give enough protection on patient. Giving prescription, compounding and dispensing should be done by pharmacists, the real drug expert to ensure the drugs given are appropriate. This rang undang also destroy the future development of pharmacists and pharmacies.

The suggestions in RUUF is irrelevant and should be cancelled. This is because pharmacist's role is to ensure all the medicines dispensed are at the accurate dosage, dosing intervals with right indication and to the right patient. Doctor should focus on diagnosis and prescribing instead of dispensing medicines. Furthermore, a wide range of medicines are available at community pharmacies and patients can eventually choose to get their medicines at the nearest pharmacy. All in all, dispensing separation must be carried out to ensure efficient healthcare system and provide a better health to patients.
