They want to purchase the WCC no for sporting point of view but intruduce chess game into the world unknown chess mafia.

Unfair on players who've struggled to reach where they are!

It would be a bad decision. I support the petition.

This would be a serious step backwards from a World Championship cycle that works very well at moment.

This proposal is meant to be able to manipulate the World Championship cycle and title and is completely unacceptable.

I'm an Italian FIDE rated player. Chess is sport, sport has rules that must be preserved from commercial / financial purporses.

I think RCF proposal is unbelievable. It seems to be from a "different" Andrei Filatov...

I think that proposal from the RCF would destroy meritocracy in the high level chess world.

In chess doping does not work so they try other tricks. Its a shame.

Indeed it will be a shame if rights to world championship match could be *bought*. RCF should use all it's might to make chess popular and interesting to general populace rather than serving fancies of handful rich people.

One fundamental aspect of chess is its inherent meritocracy. Any sporting event should promote it to the fullest extent. It is for the same reason that tiebreaks in the Candidates' Tournament should be resolved by rapid games.

Rules must be obeyed. The proposed changes would bring unfairness and discrimination.

It's important to keep the value of the World Championship title and the selection process.
