Everything in Nigeria is politics and laced with tendecies to steal a common wealth! I witnessed during my housejob how a group of doctors wanted to host AGM with millions of Naira from our common purse and they had their way eventually! MDCN and NMA are two different independent bodies. To belong to any association is a choice as enshrined in the Nigerian constitution! I do NOT need a new building . Let them remain where they are currently. There are more burning issues plaguing Nigeria at the moment not a building. This nonsense must stop!

The surcharge is ill-timed, I suggest there should be a round table discussion with all the doctors and let them agree/disagree before going forward with the levy
