I support any LAWFUL levy by NMA a voluntary body but must not be tied to MDCN certificate which is COMPULSARY to practice our Profession. NO. NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL.

At a time when the economy is so harsh and the naira so devalued I dont think such an expensive building project should be embarked upon.
Doctors in some State institutions are still being owed over a full year and a half salaries and aren't even enjoying skipping.

In as much as it is appropriate for NMA to have a befitting building, #40000 /#20000 is too much for 20/10 year doctors. What is NMA doing with the 70% annual practicing fee they are entitled to coupled with the fact that state NMA deduct another fee from source ( similar to multiple taxation )
