News has filtered in that they want to clear a debt of 238Million naira they incurred as damages from a court ruling in favour of the contractor of the building project. This is NONSENSE.

It is completely unacceptable. NMA needs to submit all the accounts for auditing. They owe us an explanation on why they have not built it with the amount of money NMA makes. Also, I need to know why they have decided to be this superfluous not considering that doctors are in the streets without jobs!!!! No residency, no jobs. Why have we decided not to place our priorities right? It really saddening that things have turned this way in a country where an average doctor is struggling to make ends meet!!!

Some doctors don't have work. Some are forced to work low level jobs just to survive. And nobody is talking about why secondary health centres are not functional to employ these doctors. And some people are busy thinking how to build house in Abuja. House dey good o. But when I've never seen where poor, hungry doctors will own gigantic structure. Mtchew.....

The NMA account should be audited before we are demanded to pay extra money. The 20,000 demanded from Doctors is too much for young Doctors who are yet to find meaningful employment. NMA should please make life easier for Doctors.
Remove that building levy please.
T
