Mining and Tourism don't go together. Tourism is sustainable and benefits the local people whereas Mining destroys and there is no long-term benefit to the local population.

We phoned excel solutions. A Mrs Mila was wishi washi with info. No, they are not mining. We asked for a map? She said they are not mining! So why doing an environmental impact assessment for an area, they do not have a map of, and have no intentions to mine in?

The mined minerals will be directly exported and not processed in Namibia, most probably..

It is with great disappointment to note the the impact on tourism has not been listed in the BID for EPL . no. 10977. This just shows that the applicant and Excel Dynamic Solutions has not done any homework on the area, or choose to ignore the largest economic impact this project will have.
