poor uniform cheap and nasty. opticians should wear professional dress male: tie shirt trousers, female blouse. what's wrong with looking smart in your own uniform.

Cheap and unprofessional. Butcher's appearance. As a locum cannot see myself getting to work wearing this ridiculous ''piece''!

There is so little locum CLO work with Boots that I can't see the point of buying uniform that may never be used.

The uniform idea stands against the relevance of individual presentation of a professional .

never worn a white coat in 40 years. It scares the younger patients and does nothing to enhance my professional status.

It's good to see somebody has organised this petition as the uniform requirements are a joke and boots need to be aware of this.

Patients have always commented on how smart I look. I don't think boots uniform is going to add any more.

I doubt anyone will 'feel good' in that! Residents have prob persuaded themselves that they look good in it because they are forced to wear it!

Ridiculous situation! I end up at boots about 10days per year - anyone letting the side down should be addressed on an individual basis.

TheThe uniform doesn't look any more professional or clinical than business wear. In HES, the most clinical environment, the dress code is shirt without tie and bare beneath the elbow. Tunics do not portray the right image. It's almost like wearing scrubs to do a sight test.
