Early release of this individual would be both insensitive and unwise.
Insensitive in that his Victim has been left with life long trauma and her Family are as affected by what happened. It is inconceivable that the release of a criminal who displayed the degree of barbarity should even be considered... He knowingly and in premeditated fashion viciously attacked a Woman who did not deserve to be treated like that... Her scars are for life!
Unwise in that there is no proof that there is any degree of remorse and even less evidence and likelihood of rehabilitation in the short time he has been incarcerated, meaning there is scant likelihood he will not commit a similar offence in future.
Nothing can excuse what he knowingly did, so at the very least, he should serve out his full sentence in jail.

The terribly violent and intentionally bloodthirsty nature of the attack by this individual cannot be dismissed. The affect to the victim and her family have been deeply traumatic and that will never leave them, they will be forever altered and their lives affected. The sheer force of the attack sent Shockwaves through the entire community. This assailant masquerades as a victim, an innocent, but he intentionally attacked, raped and intended to kill another human without consideration of harm or consequence. He cannot be allowed to escape consequence equal to his actions, and be released back into a society which has no mechanism to anticipate or deal with this level of violent depravity.

This is a dangerous situation and life threatening. If released it's putting another life in danger. Lee Roy Anderson has not even been imprisoned for half of his sentence, there should be no pardon given here. Please consider well before releasing Lee-Roy Anderson. It will be another crime waiting to happen, another life destroyed. Thanking you. Helen Rehder.
