BTY.......If this is just about culling the herd, these 'hunters' can just leave about a hundred pounds of venison and the racks from some of the spectacular buck we have in here right on my deck. It won't go to waste.....jus' sayin'.

How many deer are actually in Coosawattee? Have other avenues of culling (tranquelizing & moving to wildlife management area) been explored? If residents don't want their landscaping damaged, don't plant what deer like to eat-duh! There are far bigger problems than the deer...like speeding, driving ATV's like bats out of hell on gravel roads, residents not paying their dues, lack of communication on the part of the board...like the dump being closed for the week, to name a few!
Please don't regret my decision to move to CCRR!

lot #EML135.....I believe the one's with the biggest mouths on this are the same one's that like to drive thru here at 45 mph, like our roads are some kind of amusedment ride, and they don't want to have to slow down for any deer that may be by road. And, the dumbasses that plant the same flowers and schrubs that they did in NY or NJ: we plant things that deer don't like to eat and have no problem. As to the 'no need to feed' policy, I agrre; making wild animals dependent on man doesn't help. The only animal that should be dependent on you should be your pet. Thank you for allowing me to voice my opinion; I could say more, but another time.........Dave
