Em2694, we have deer all the time that are healthy, so I can't see that reasoning. We purchased in CRR because of no hunting, so they can't change the rules that easily. It's just wrong the way it is being handled

Love seeing the deer. Find a way to relocate some of them to another wilderness but don't kill them.

all the deer I have seen are healthy. Most of the Doe are mothers and still nursing. They were here before we were. We are guests in their environment.

Never have I observed the Board of CRRA utilizing scientific data in a meaningful way. If state (DNR, etc.)reports supporting this action exist, why haven't these been presented to the membership? Female deer are producing twins at an alarming rate in response to the already decimated buck population. Hunters report nearby areas where there are more coyotes than deer. Mark my words, the wild hogs will return and decimate your precious flower garden. Masters of Science Education, Bachelors, Biology

We, humans, are the ones encroaching on their home. They have been kind enough to share it with us. We can't just keep killing everything that is a nuisance to us. We need to find a balance. Maybe, we need to create a deer park for them and form a committee that would oversee the park in which they could be fed. Or, just continue to let those of us who enjoy seeing them at our front door to feed them. I certainly would not want someone to come to my home and then force me out, stop feeding me, and then shoot me because I'm trying to get scraps that used to be so abundant.

BF288R NO to culling the deer. Too many homes to have anyone hunting in the area, expert or not accidents happen.
