This is the ipotomy of greed yes gas prices have gone up incredibly,and I strongly suspect there other way to deal with this. Has any one looked at fund raising, crowd funding, getting a grant, How about just asking for help from our community ity. Is this a private enterprise or a county service. Is there a contract for these services, Find A new contractor. Signing a petition is great, but don't be lazy, there must be some other alternatives..Keep me posted. Thanks.

It's ridiculous to raise public transportation prices so high that the people who need it the most won't be able to afford it. Many can barely afford food and now they have to somehow budget for a 220% increase in transportation costs?? Horrible decision!

People who utilize the public transportation system already have limited fixed incomes. This measure will increase financial strain considerably.

Please think about the need we have for the cat bus there are lots of people who don’t drive in our city don’t make it where we can’t afford it just because you have a car think of others

This has been such a great service. I used it when my kids were younger to get them to and from school. I have also used it myself at times. Please keep the prices the same, times are hard and prices are rising on everything. I loved that camarillo has this service

Signature collection period will end 4 weeks from now. If the City Council does NOT put Public Transit Affordability Aid on its Meeting Agenda by August 25th, 2021, we are picketing the outside of City Hall starting in the days following that until the City establishes an adequate Public Transit Affordability Aid program.

So the emphasis from here on out is getting some sort of aid in place to help people afford the bus, as we doubt the City is likely to reduce rates to anything more reasonable.

Please reconsider raising the rates for Dial a Ride especially for disabled citizens and/or provide some sort of assistance. People on a fixed income cannot afford this huge jump in rates

Government is supposed to take care of its citizens, not make money off of them. That is what our tax dollars are for. If you are struggling with the budget , defund the police that are extremely over funded.
