Petition Against £30 Charge for Uplifting Brown Bins

This charge is only going to increase unlawful dumping of garden waste,resulting in culverts and overflowing rivers as if there are not enough flooding problems locally.

We pay enough council tax as it is stop this payment before it starts

Absolutely shocking, in the time that cost of living is increasing you hit the small medium families in the pocket again. Utter shambolic

This charge is not required. This saving could be made elsewhere.....

I pay my council tax already which includes the brown bin so they can sook what am not allowed to say if they think they are going to levy more fcukin money from me.. cuts and prices going up. W.t.f they doing with the money!!!!!

It is a disgrace,this will only hit the people who have brown bins. Not every house within the Highland Council has a brown bin.so can the Highland council explain why they are victimising people with brown bins.... I wil not be paying it..

I'm signing this petition as I think it's absolutely shocking that we will have to pay £30 to have our brown bins emptied. You can expect a lot of fly dumping of garden waist when this tale place as no one's going to want a £30 yearly charge for the service that should come under out council tax.

I dont think this charge should go ahead ,it is not fair on the low paid and those on benefits

This is just going to discourage people from recycling. Everyone will put their garden rubbish in their general waste bins.
