Rather go the extra hassle and empty it ourselves than pay them anymore money for the bin service. We pay enough in council tax for this as it is.

Not a fair charge. We share bins due to the lack of space in a communal garden which is also pretty small..

We pay the council to empty our bins so why charge us to empty brown bins which is not a year round service even and will encourage fly tipping.

I am on a very low income and I can't afford to pay that, also I can't do one cut on the grass complete as my bin will be open and more than what it holds. We shouldn't have to pay for it and rent and tax is up. What do we pay tax for?? NOTHING.

Thought all council rises affected EVERYBODY. What about folk in flats etc with no garden. This is surely a discriminatry action by the council.

There will be people who aren't happy or able to pay the bin charge this will result in garden waste being fly tipped or even Gardens being left to become full of weeds and overgrown.
