An out of town developer not familiar with KC area shouldn't be allowed to build in an area without making all kinds of studies, which they apparently(according to the petition) have not done.

Even if this was a good location from an infrastructure standpoint, it is not a good plan or precedent to set. Should be a community plan and not merely give a known struggling area's concerns to another community, in a less than ideal location.
Location next to retirement communities, multiple schools, already hud crowded area without appropriate police/fire support, infrastructure, zoning, and other concerns makes this an unwise decision.

This would be the worst thing for the Northland. As the Northland is continuing to develop, the last thing we need is subsidized development increasing the crime and changing the safe feel of our Northland communities.

I don't want to keep moving farther north because my family is scared of having what they WORK very hard for to just be taken from them.

I made it a point to make a $75,000 working. Too raise my kids in a good neighborhood and not be low income like how I was raised. So we moved too the Northland. I don't want these type of people in my neighborhood.

I am very much against either location being developed for any kind of low income housing, including mixed housing. I'm glad the southern site has been removed, but the other site needs removed as well. They need to drop development consideration completely in this entire area.

Rebuild in the same area where the housing was originally located.

This/housing will destroy the new development in the area. Shops and companies are coming in to support a higher income/housing average. After all the money spent by the city in this area, the development will stop.

Lets see,.. Crime imported into our area, school overcrowding, increased taxes for new schools, subsidizing the low income new neighbors with our tax dollars, Increased traffic, their problems following them to our area, this list of negatives goes on and on.

If the city was awarded a grant to rebuild Chouteu Courts then it should be rebuild. Not rebuilt and moved. This is not a good idea for the city or the existing people living in the area proposed.
