We do not need the crime that comes from these structures on barry road.

The developer should spin their money in their own communities. And help build up the landscape of the downtown area. There are numerous vacant buildings that could be redone instead of cutting away trees and beautiful landscape that is already dwindling in the Northland

I do not support this project as there are other ways to relocate the families affected. Putting them all in one housing complex not only affects the surrounding area but it also affects the morale and self worth of those individuals. Provide them and other housing communities with a subsidy that will allow them the freedom to spread out in the metro area and have a better quality of life.

This project isn't suitable for the area. It's going to hurt rather than help

We have enough housing in the Northland already. This and surrounding area is buried in apartments now. We are just now getting retail developers to invest in the area. That's what we need. NO MORE HUD, SECTION 8 in the Northland..

The schools can't support this the extra security can't support this and most all can't afford to take the hit in their property values especially the elderly

These types of plans presented in a hasty mannor, while trying to NOT get community input, is the exact reason this city is known for back room deals and frivolous spending.

I am appalled that Kansas City continues to make it more and more difficult for low income families to earn an honest living. First, the ridiculous tax increases. Next, the absurd approval of KCPL and Kansas City Water increases their charges, and now they want to make it almost impossible for these people to transport to work in an economically feasible way.

As a Platte County resident, I will not stand for this development or any of the public figures whom support it.

It will increase my insurance premiums on my home and automobile. It will also reduce my property value. It's the one and only investment I have. For this reason alone I'm completely against this project. Business is business.
