We do not need more riff raff out north already have rising crime, pawn shops, tattoo parlors, and gangs of teens walking streets and neighborhoods at night. Nothing good will come of this.

As a resident of this area for 17 years I love it. There is more than enough housing to go around and we were just starting to get back on track improving the area with the Metro North Mall project. I simply do not see a need for this project.

The natural population growth in this area is more than the school system can already handle. I had two children graduate from Park Hill school and between Park Hill high school and Congress middle school the halls are excessively crowded as it is. I have worked in the Kansas City school district buildings and at those facilities are not as crowded. It makes absolutely no sense to bring additional families to an area where our schools are already tremendously over crowded. I'm strongly considering moving from the area if this initiative passes.

Please do not let this happen! I know low income families need a chance for nice housing but it will only lower the value of the Beautiful neighborhoods around that area and possibly bring in crime and drugs!!

Although there may be a need for this, established areas like this should not be an option as it will affect property values if he surrounding areas

This is very unsettling for Northland residents.

Have loved in section 8 and low income housing, as well as close to it for most my life. Unfortunately the majority are trash.

This would be unfortunate for homeowners in the area that would take a huge hit on the valuation of their homes. Also their children would receive a weaker education because for a period of time the services provided would be strained until employment could adjust. All around bad for the people who already live here and have for years.

No!!! Think of the decline in money being spent by people from other small cities that come to shop, dine and play. I would no longer choose to spend my money in this area

Planning commission needs to not mix residential development. Look how Kansas does it with housing. There is no mixture of all kinds. They have neighborhoods.

A greedy developer is doing almost the same thing to us in Southern Platte co.
