The board responsible for the international physical therapy course now want to change our affiliation in the 4th year. They want to have 2 instead of 3 periods and only work 2-3 days a week. The rest of the week we have to continue with our bachelor project or research. This is something a lot of students is against, so if you are one of them please sign!

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you came forward to speak up about this change. This momentum belongs entirely to the students who realized we deserve better than these proposed conditions.

This is ridiculous. We chose this course for the internship hours not for extra research. I want to treat patients not sit in a library all day.
Are you serious? We are paying to be trained as professionals. Less time in the clinic is a huge step backward.

That is not what we signed for. So why change things during te studies ? One of the good things about the programe is the number of internships, when we get experience on the field. What would be the point of spending more time on a meaningless project for our future ?
It is unethical and underhanded to instigate such drastic changes to the syllabi without informing students prior to their application. As physiotherapy students we are striving to become physiotherapists, the emphasis should therefore be on the development our practical skills.
We need to practise more and more!!!! Especially at the end of our study...!

completely agree. 2 days a week is not enough time to get real experience. dont ruin our last year with this nonsense.
