He is such an awesome teacher, and he have so much patient with all his students. I definitely look forward to his class, and it's just not right without him!

Peter Harlan is an essential key to the ID program at the AI-Chicago. His willingness to teach, help, and his great sense of humor brings a great vibe to the school community. He not only teaches his classes, but helps us unconditionally every time we have questions about other classes. He motivates us to give the best of us. The ID program will NEVER be the same without him. PLEASE BRING PETER HARLAN BACK!!!

Peter is by far the best teacher we have in the interior design program. He has help me through so much throughout my time at the school. Honestly he is one of the few teachers that seams like they care about the students. He deserves to be at the school.

To Whom It May Concern: I've been a student at The Illinois Institute of Art since the Fall of 2010. Peter Harlan has been my professor for many classes, and I have a deep respect for him as a person and as a professor. He engages with you on a personal and professional level, taking care and concern into your education and making sure you understand the material at hand. His real life expertise and experience is continually discussed in the classroom to better help prepare us for the professional world. I believe the decision to let him go is a grave mistake. The quality of the program and asset that we had with Peter will be lost. I believe he is an essential part of our learning experience. Please reconsider this decision. Thank you. Peters the best teacher Ai has!! He devoted so much time to each student and always went out his way!! You could go to him for anything! And he'll always help. So upsetting to hear this!!

Peter is one of the best instructors our school has had in the 5 years I've been here. It is very rare to come across a teacher who is genuinely interested in reaching students on a personal level, to provide the best possible assistance in the development of their individual skills. He has always been there to help with not only his own classes, but also to help us with additional classes when the other instructors fall short. Anyone who has had the honor of working with him knows that the decision to terminate him will be a detrimental loss to the Interior Design program and the school as a whole.

Peter Harlan is considered an asset to many students education. The Illinois Institute of Art - Chicago are only hurting themselves by letting him and the other teachers I fortunately got to experience and consider a crutial part of my education.
