This is to gain support for Peter Cousins Campaign The BJA (British Judo Association) and its panel have left ...out the best chance of our country to get a gold medal in the under 100kg catogeory WE NEED TO GET PETER TO OUR OLYMPIC GAMES We all need to show our support and change BJA minds, we know that our very own Mr Cousins won gold only this year, on 13th may2012 at the British open, beating the man that has taken peters rightful place. JAMES AUSTIN is a good judo player,but Peter is worldclass. Peter has beaten him in their last 4 fights. So why has BJA sent James Austin to our games We have less then 2 months to change their minds This blame has to be placed soley at the european select committee, for not allowing peter to go to the european championship earlier this year.If he had of been selected for the europeans he would have been ahead of James Austin in points ,and automatically guranteed his place in the olympics.Peter had a injury in late 2009.After an operation in 2010 he started training too early and to hard,causing the injury to recure.subsequently having to have two more operations.After recuperating and building slowly, he showed us all that he deserves a place at the olympics by winning a GOLD medal !In the British open in may this year. we believe that the selection panel for the BJA hasn't taken in account his accelarated progress ,his injury and recuperation time The selection panel should be putting forward world class players to win the medals which Peters record shows that he can . If anyone has any ideas or can support in anyway , it is a worthy cause .
