this petition is for Mr. Bud Selig. baseball fan's are requesting your attention on the subject of pete rose's re-instatement to the hall of fame balloting. according to the BBWAA election rules "voting shall be based on the player's record, playing ability, integrity, sportsmanship, character, and contribution's to the team(s) on which they (played)....pete rose should be re-instated for his playing ability and the excitement he brought to the greatest game ever played. baseball is our game, all of us whoever cheered for our game and to watch the greatest hitter to ever lace up a pair of cleats. no one condones a coach that bet's on his team pete rose the player belong's to us. the fan's. pete's statistics as a player speak for their self. pete has admitted his mistake and there isn't a grown adult that love's sport's who hasn't said i bet you on something or another. the admitted steroid group should have been the one's banned from baseball if anyone should be. there was some real cheat's on this year's ballot. pete rose's playing career and stat's as the best hitter of all time or forever should be seperate form his dumb coaching decision's.
