I think Coach Grieder is well deserved and well qualified to have this position. He has lived in this community for years and understand the needs of our boys. Having 2 sons gone through his program and having been seen every match and observing him how he carry himself and represent our school I could not be happier to see him as LHHS Athletic Director.

Both of my sons are wrestlers so I can personally attest to Coach Grieder going above and beyond. Our wrestling program is strong and well respected because of his leadership. He looks out for all the boys, has open lines of communication with everyone, and effectively manages all aspects of the team from financial to logistics. He does all this and teaches math. LHHS student athletes deserve the best leadership, and those of us in the wrestling program first know first-hand, that is Coach Grieder.

It's time to have a proven leader, a successful coach and community icon considered as the person to re-build the LH athletic department. All to often, the incoming football coach is automatically 'given' this position as if it were an entitlement. Let's break this antiquated way of business. It's way overdue. Coach Grieder would be a tremendous choice.
