I don't have to take my snake outside for the bathroom like a dog. It doesn't bark at everyone like it's totally brainless. It doesn't eat all the birds, like a cat. It makes way more sense than a dog or cat. To make a movie I can put two buckets of water in the tank, feed the animal, and in a month when I come back, it's not even hungry yet. So I'm not stuck in my house all year, to have a dog or cat.

Snakes are just as important as any other pets especially cats and dogs, they could be someone's best friend. Telling someone they can't have a friend is disgusting even if it's a snake. There's no reason for anyone to not be able to keep snakes

66 people died from being struck by lightning in the USA in 2002...14 have died from pet snakes since 1972.

Non-venomous snakes are pets just like dogs or cats, in fact they don't accidentally destroy property in rentals. If you want to ban something try guns, those are dangerous just look at statistics from the USA vs countries where ownership is severely restricted. Snakes? Leave those poor animals and their owners alone.

Snakes make great pets to help with anxiety. I use mine for the same purpose and it works amazingly well. They are very calming and beautiful pets

His snakes mean and do for him what anyone else's dog, cat, bird, and ferret do for you and I !!! Why should his animals be taken or seized just because you don't like or are uncomfortable with which species he has!! Isn't like he has poisonous snakes!! He should have the right that you and I do to keep his pets!!!

Snakes aren’t nearly as dangerous as many people believe they are. Our laws should never be based off of fear and misinformation. They should be based off fact, and only restrict liberties when absolutely necessary.

There are far more dangerous dogs being kept as pets than dangerous snakes. Unusual pets should not be discriminated against just because lawmakers don't want to bother taking the effort to do proper research on them.

Snakes make wonderful pets, and are a lot less of a danger to the public than your average dog. They are contained, and the large majority of them are not aggressive in nature.

This is ridiculous. My snakes are harmless and have never hurt anyone. I have lovenly cared for them for years.
Don't fear them, be educated by them, respect them. More people are killed by drunk drivers,dogs and those are still around. These laws are outdated.

I know from personal experience that Andrew is very educated in reptiles, especially snakes, and they are not only a passionate hobby of his, but provide him with comfort for his severe anxiety and depression, much like my puppy provides to me! They are well taken care of, and safely put in secure their habitat, proving no danger to anyone! These are severely outdated and very prejudice laws that need to be re-evaluated! Stop the discrimination!

I have kept and bred reticulated pythons for.over 20 years without a single bad experience. More people are killed by pet dogs every YEAR than have EVER been killed by pet snakes. If safety is your concern then it would make more sense to go after everyone's dogs and see how that goes. We need to end this baseless discrimination of snakes!! They can make wonderful pets!!

If anything needs to be controlled it's the cat and dog pouplation. They are more of a threat than a caged pet.
