Permanent Remote Work Petition

I think this should be and options for staff due to the situation right now.

We all deserve the option to stay well, and protect our families.

May be forced to retire if forced back to work. Doctor will not clear me to work outside my home and cannot be around more than 2 people that must have gloves on and a mask, 6 feet away for less than 15 mins.

Full-time or partial remote work enables higher productiveity and beter work/life balance. Since we have worked well during quarantine, we can continue to do so at least part-time going forward.

I support the permanent telework petition and I also support AWS reinstatement. For the health and safety off all LAHSA employees and their families. #employeesafetymatters #employeehealthmatters #employeefamiliesmatter

Working from home has been a blessing!

I have two medical chronic conditions that will make it almost impossible for me to return to an office with uncertainties of having this pandemic under control.

Working remotely keeps us safe.

with number of covid-19 cases rising daily is better to work remotely to lower the chance of have close contact with sick individuals, stay health and also able to get more work done.

For some staff this could be great. It could save LAHSA money. As long as the work assignments are completed.

working fromm home has been great for a home/work life balanced environment, most importantly it helps society as a whole in keeping safe in attempts to reduce the spread of covid during this pandemic.

Our unit has proven to be as effective, if not more so, working from home. We have adjusted all training curriculum during the pandemic and have highly increased usage of the intervention to quickly resolve the housing crisis of folks experiencing homelessness during the past 3 months - all from remote work. I stand with the option for permanent remote work.

We have proven that we can work remotely!

LAHSA can save a lot on overhead costs like leasing less number of floors, reducing parking and transportation costs, etc. by allowing concerned employees to telecommute.

I have been able to do my job from home without problems. I support having the option of working permanently from home.

I am extremely concerned by the surge of COVID-19 and for health of myself and my family I vote for continued telework. My work productivity has increased during this telework phase.

Keeping my family safe is very important to me.

Work from home at least until End of 2021 (or more) to ensure everybody's safety during this Pandemic time.
