The action that they are putting on us is not right , we didn't cause the problem , so we shouldn't have to pay it off .this be started several years ago, someone in the office was taking $$$$_ that didn't belong to them, they tried to get my monthly payment and got caught by me , but had to put it back, when confronted . Needless to say I wasn't one of their favorite people to come in.

I’m very upset (pissed) at the whole situation and have been for years. Apparently we need a new mayor. Constantly no water,when it has to be filtered to use. What about people on fixed income that can’t afford it? It’s not right by any means, and I’m beginning nice. Not saying what I. REALLY want to! 23 years and nothing’s changed and I was already sick of the high prices when we have water saving appliances. Many don’t! It sucks! People can’t afford it, but no one cares. Shame on y’all

0 communication. Our bill has more than doubled, with no increase in usage. If I owned a company and had to file for a chapter of bankruptcy, how could I push those charges to my customers? If I'm missing something, please let me know. It's unfair and Perla needs a major overhaul on their management.

Mismanagement should not result in this set price. My mother lives alone and is on a fixed income and she has complained several times of her meter not being read every month. Since there are people that have requested repairs for years and repairs not being completed just exactly what we’re the workers paid to do, since they were not reading meters or fixing repairs. Sounds like they were getting paid and not doing the job.....is it the water users fault to be charged now bc people did not properly do their job for years? Sounds to me like an investigation be done to find out why people received payment for jobs not done. Not water users fault. They should have had employees that worked on a daily basis and not people getting paid for work that hasn’t been done for years!

I live in Perla. We have contacted the water office several times to come fix the leak and our meter at 193 Downing Lane & they have not fixed this leak or the meter as of now and it’s been 1-1/2 years.

Our water bill is continually outragously high. I have gone in and complained many times. My meter has been broken and full of water for several years and had the mayor tell me they would replace it 2 years ago which they have not. Many times it can't even be read from the moisture inside the glass. This month our bill is 4 Xs our normal monthly bill !!! Something must be done !!!

Something needs to be done about the mismanaging of the money and maybe hold the mayor accountable for all of this because from what I read in the past the water company had money for the repairs and now they want to put it off on us

Other surrounding water company’s do not charge that much. Perla waters fault not the community! I would switch company’s but we obviously can’t do that. Almost feels like we are being taken advantage of.
