My meter hasn't worked since BEFORE 2012. My bill has been outrageous at times and no one could explain it. I disagree with the way this is being handled. We are an association therefore, we should be involved in choosing the board members and have all information up front, BEFORE any decisions are settled.

This is ridiculous! My meter hasn't been read in I don't know how long! The water stinks! Don't think it's right that we have to pay for someone else's mistakes.

I have stated the same facts . There were no contact since 3 yrs ago when Mr Clark Lambert informed us about this new water co . I didn’t like the conversation at the time because it sounded just like it has turned out. I have been taken advantage on water bills for yrs . This leadership needs to be investigated cause these actions are not fair to the residents of Perla . I could say more but I want until later date . I been posting and complaining . PERLA CITY HALL NEEDS SND OVERHAUL OF OFFICIALS TO SEE WHAT IS EXACTLY GOING ON

I was told by perla water that they didn’t have the money to pay someone to read the meters every month. She told me that they used the meter reading for the same month of the previous year for the months they didn’t read.

I've been on per la water for 10 yrs. This whole time my water in NOT drinkable, it stinks like the mud on bottom of the river. My water has to be filtered so there's that cost and now my bill has doubled. IF i have to pay this much I expect good drinkable water...

I am employed by Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority, so I understand what it takes to maintain a system, and Perla water does not have it.

I personally paid out of my own pocket and ran 800feet of line for perla water. This was 8 years ago.. I also dug the right away twice. The first time I dug it I waited one year and had to dig it out again. Then I bought the line myself. Also bought my own 1in 1/2 meter and meter loop.. I find it hard for someone to tell me if I do not pay on time you will shut me off. Given the money I spent to run the line for Perla and whoever's takes it over.. Also we the water users should have a say to the members on the board and operations.

There are water leaks all down perla road and Mt.Willow and has been for awhile,also there was sewer that ran across perla road for two months into a creek.. I myself find it disgusting to have to drive threw sewer and it splash all over my car...

This is not our problem we have had multiple leaks on Rinehart road that have been let go for years and they would not fix them and we have called to report them

They did an increase in january i believe. When the allowable usage was 2000 per month to 1000.
Big creeks system has been paid for years but the price never decreased.
So if all of the system cant be billed the same and the customers have input or be representatived then i WILL disconnect!!!!
Since they arent regulated by the state then they shouldnt turn to the state to protect them.
Lack of maintence and management isnt a customer issue its a personell issue.
I feel for my neighbors that have well issues.
But this isnt acceptable

That's crazy for you all to make us pay $15 plus the water bill. My family has been in perla since I was bron even before then. How are you going to make us pay something when they don't even read the Water meter they just copy what the last person did.

I see no reason to tack on a $15 charge on top of my water bill just because they cant manage the water dept. We have seen this time and time again, 0ne month you have a bigger than usual bill the next month normal. Sounds a lot like skimming . Maybe you should do an audit and find the missing money and press charges if they stole other wise do not still from the customer's with an extra charge just because they cant manage money.

Goodness..this is so aggravating. The conference call today was a joke. I personally feel like the users were not to have been a part of the call. Mr. Adams wanted no comments or questions.

Perla has mishandled funds and water leakage for many years. We should not have to pay for their mismanagement.

Who appointed the person to choose the 5 person panel? When was the last audit?
Why doesn't everyone pay the same amount for water? Why should the waters users pay for all this mismanagement?
