The feedback regarding our local businesses has been consistent and encouraging. I am currently organizing our points for the upcoming council session to ensure our perspective is represented clearly.

The momentum surrounding our petition reflects the shared commitment to preserving the unique character of our community. This widespread interest underscores the importance of protecting the family businesses that define our town.

my grandparents started their shop downtown 40 years ago and walmart will just kill it. sad to even think about.
traffic by the school is already bad enough. putting a giant store there is just a terrible idea with the kids walking around.
dont want it. plain and simple. keep our money in prague.
we dont need a walmart here. it would ruin everything we worked for on main st. keep it local.
PRAGUE IS A SMALL TOWN FOR A REASON. Keep the big box store out of here please.

I too feel the same way as mentioned previously. The businesses in our town are locally owned. My fear is this will cause our businesses to close down leaving us like Stroud after they put the mall in north of Stroud. Strouds mainstreet looks like a ghost town. I feel like we as Prague people should of had a vote or some say in this WalMart coming in. Whoever made the decision did not think about what an impact this will have on our town.
