Hughesnet lies constantly to get business. Their service is terrible, inconsistent and data evaporates in just a few hours.

This is absolutely the worst internet service I have ever had. Half the time it doesn't work. It's slow ALL THE TIME. If another option becomes available, I'll pay the penalty to ditch hughesnet in a hearbeat.

I had HN for over 2 years and it was awful!! Always an excuse and it was so expensive. I do not know how they haven’t been investigated!!

Our cable provider gave us a package deal with these so called providers! It was a total scam from the beginning. They charged us an outrageous amount for the 1st month and drafted out of our bank account without our permission or signature. We were outraged! Called customer service and they are idiots. Nothing good to say about them except my year is up and will do without if they are the only provider here.

When signing up I told them what I needed internet for, they said "this package will be enough and for this price" well 2 days later I'm out of data. 2 DAYS! I call them and tell them what I was told and one operator would add some tokens. Still, data gone in two days. I put up with that for a year. Called them and wanted to cancel. They said I would owe them $300! I told them they are out of their minds! That I haven't had service for a year and owe them nothing and told them they better not turn it into the credit agencies or they'd be hearing from my lawyer! HughesNet needs shut down!
I was on the phone complaining every other day!

I’ve called multiple times about how bad our service is and no one has ever offered to help us! With it being the only internet service in our area we have no other choice but stay with me.

They have me all kinds of trouble. Had to get State Attorney involved. It took almost a year to get my money back. They would charge my credit card even after getting new number. Stay away from them.
