City of Pembroke Pines, FL Needs To Meet Federal Water Standards

It is irresponsible from Mayor Ortis, his assistand, the City Planner and his work group, to ignore this crucial issue. Let's get back our own water system and we won't probably need any Ionic Exchange Unit.

This appears to be a no brainer. Is the major using and drinking the same water as we are?

I think everyone has seen the negative press that Flint, Michigan has received lately. And while this is not quite in that level, the optics are just as bad. Mr. Mayor, you have the power to take control of this narrative before it gets out of control. Own the problem, fix it, and move on. Who knows, you might even get re-elected. Because right now, you are careening towards being voted out.

I want clean and safe water in my city. Action needs to be taken immediately to correct this situation.

It is a shame that we are not able to get clean water in the great State of Flordia. For the residents to continue to being healthy, happy and prosper economically, it is the government's PRIMARY job to provide safe and clean water to its residents.

Hye I've lived here 17 years this city looks awful no pressure cleaning, dirty bus stops, litter,no street cleaning sweeper, graffiti, double parking outside stores how much more does he allow to be built, clean up what u have . Five years fought for cleaning sidewalks they blame each other keep passing the buck for work , violations etc let's revoke new people in .

I'd rather have clean safe water than a new shiny City Center.

I moved to pembroke lakes because I was told by many it's a great city..... But instead they are trying to poison me my wife and my two young children, my community with their kids too This is pathedic! Safety first! How dare the city put my family at risk!. Stop with the lies, stop with the delays..... Fix it now!

Get this water situation fixed already! I've lived in Pembroke Pines for 13 years and have always loved our town.... until now. Utterly disgusted!!!

Having green water for almost 2 years. Flowers die. I've lost 3 cats due to kidney failure. Clothes don't get clean. It's toxic water. I'm not opposed to go house to house.
