People not just elderly are confused more so the shambles at Tesco Corner. Also the offset mini roundabout at the junction at Cobbold Road and Ranelagh Road. Who installs a roundabout then has to hack away the pavement to allow traffic to use it.

Ridiculous idea to start with as the town centre in way to small to share with cars. Having a hearing loss, I cannot hear cars crawling behind me and have been clipped by someone's wing mirror.

I too have nearly come a cropper at tjese crossings when a car automatically they had the right of way even though I was nearly all the way across

In my experience the Crossing by Tesco Express is dangerous for pedestrians & the same for the high street.

Agree completely. I have hated shopping in town ever since the road was opened to cars. And have never felt comfortable taking my daughter into town.

The shared space simply does not work. It is very confusing as the road is paved to look like a pedestrian area. The courtesy crossings are also badly placed and confusing. This was a council initiative that was foisted on to the public with zero consultation

It's only a matter of time until someone is killed. It's a very dangerous scheme and at least two people have been hit by cars in the last year.

A great deal of money was spent on this project to enhance our town centre and what have we got cars parked all along the street cars speeding past and you take your chances on the crossings
