I live in New Street and my children and I use this crossing regularly, it is extremely dangerous as sometimes the children will go to walk once one train has gone through not realising there is a second train to come. I have also witnessed from my car an adult with a child cross between the two trains not realising their was another train coming, it was frightening to witness. It is an accident waiting to happen and needs to be addressed asap.

I watched as a young girl from St Joan of Arc crossed over on her bike after one train had passed, another came along narrowly missing her. That day there was a near miss but it could easily have been a fatality, one that the school community would never be able to recover from.

This crossing should be immediately installed for the children and parents' safety.

My family must cross this section of the track to get to school, I think the lack of a gate is dangerous.

This intersection is one of Bayside's busiest ajacent to schools and child care as well as being a cross road of two busy bicycle lanes. It simply MUST have controlled pedestrian gates before a terrible accident occurs

We need the pedestrian gates to protect the kids, especially the younger ones
