I totally agree a crossing is needed, I have seen a lot of near misses on that road.

I am the lollipop lady on Wrenthorpe Road and if for any reason I have been unable to do my shift and have driven down by the village hall have been shocked by how much traffic is there and how dangerous it is to cross.

The lollipop lady was never replaced & it's very dangerous for school children crossing - it's especially busy when Silcoates school is going in and out.

As evidence of the desperate need for a crossing at this location. I almost was involved in an accident earlier today when a young girl stepped out in front of me at this location.

Its dangerous on many levels, not just for pedestrians but also those wanting to turn left out of the junction. Too many people speed and cut the corner. In my view lights are the only option here.
