Pedestrian Crossing for Musters Road

This is a very busy road, with lots of drivers appearing to speed, fail to use indicators etc. There seems to be more vans, trucks, lorries too. Considering there is a school, church, nurseries near by, at least one crossing is essential in my opinion before someone is seriously hurt.

At least one pedestrian crossing is the must but multiple would be suitable as this way is used by many residents to get from WB city center to the Point and Trent river as well.

i have witnessed many drivers speed down the road, its not safe and someone is going to end up getting hurt. there is lot of people that use this road both old and young and a crossing will defiantly benefit everyone.

There is no safe crossing point near to my son's nursery (The Playroom). It is a treacherous crossing given the speed at which oncoming vehicles travel and the parked vehicles on the road reduce visibility significantly. I am very anxious when navigating this crossing with my son.

It is important that pedestrians can use this road safely

We need to make sure that our children are safe. This has always been a busy road but over the last few years has become even busier with road traffic and drivers do not slow down despite seeing many families walking on the pavement. Absolutely essential in my opinion. Please act before it's too late.

Much needed plus other traffic calming measures to slow the traffic.

This road is busy and cars sometimes go so fast it makes it dangerous to cross the road. Much needed.

This is a very long stretch of straight road which adds to the likelihood of speeding traffic. Important to look at footfall when looking at vehicle volume. Children and the elderly are big users of this crossing place.

Please let’s act before something awful happens that leaves us all wishing we’d done more.

I support this idea. Musters Road needs more crossings as does Bridgford Road by the cricket ground.

Long overdue

I myself experienced issues while driving the car at this place, vehicles parked at the adjacent sides completely blocked the visibility of the roads thus unable to find the vehicles coming through.. Definitely needed signalling at this place.

This would be brilliant for the school children and also the patients visiting the GP surgery. Also, if the kerb could be dropped it would help pushchair and wheelchair users greatly.
