I have to travel to work every day over this bridge and to go round will take extra time and petrol. Can a temporary bridge be built for this.

Would be a huge help if I could cycle to Kelfield twice daily - would walk bike over bridge obviously! The cost of the extra diesel to go the long way round will be difficult to meet.

Access over the bridge by foot or by bike would make a huge difference to the villages

20 weeks is far too long, we need some kind of access.

A walk way should be made available over the bridge during the 20 weeks closure

Disruption would be minimised if there were at least pedestrian access, allowing people to reach Kelfield or parked vehicles.

With the horrendous and badly organised road works in selby, a detour through there is the last that any resident of Cawood needs. They're put out enough every time there is flooding but that's accepted as its nature. Something can be done this time. Car parking and pedestrian access should be granted

Like many others I travel to work daily at York Hospital. Pedestrian access and parking would help so many Cawood people.

A 20 week closure and a minimum of 10 trips to York a week would mean more than 7500 extra miles for me, then there's an extra hour a day travelling and an extra tank of fuel week

I do not drive and rely on getting the bus from Cawood to York. .I cannot imagine how difficult it will be for me to travel to work without access to the other side of the bridge. Please try to find a solution.

Please keep the bridge open for pedestrians or the children who live in the kelfield area will have over an hours journey to get to school and back each day
