The groundwork for this legislation has been laid by the several communities in Rhode Island (including the crowded, urban, city of ProvidencE) which have wisely decided to allow backyard chicken keeping. The people in those communities now have access to their own supply of fresh, totally organic, healthy eggs, without any catastrophic increase in vermin, or any other significant problem. As a resident of Warwick, I would like to enjoy the same access to my own, home-raised eggs.

Warwick residents should be allowed to keep up to six hens as long as they have the adequate shelter and provisions.

I believe we should be able to raise chickens in warwick. I mean com on you can raise them in providence and they hardly have any land to put these birds on. Where as in warwick you do.

My neighbor can have up to 3 barking dogs, but I cannot have 2 clucking chickens? This is just plain ridiculous!
