The Dyfi Valley and its surrounding countryside is a haven not only for wildlife but for many of us who seek a less complicated, harmonious, quieter and more peaceful life. It is a candidate Biosphere reserve, it has deep roots in sustainability, living more at one with our environment. It is a place or green tree, high mountain, wide rivers, boiling surf. Peace. Yet the sky above our heads is often filled with the sound of warplanes, practicing for death and destruction. This is completely at odds with the spirit of this place, against what I believe in and I hope what the majority of people who call this place home believe in too. Please vote for Peace in our Skies and an end to military flying around the Dyfi Valley and surrounding area. With enough support I will use this campaign to lobby the MOD and others for a no fly zone for all military aircraft in and around the Dyfi Valley.
