Dogs bark! If they didn't attack anyone they should be back where they belong. This is ridiculous. Many people have dogs because they bark and deter people breaking into their homes!

Let's be reasonable, they could work out an arrangement that the dogs are kept inside during the night, I have barking dogs next door, it's not a big deal, that's how they communicate, to kill two healthy dogs for barking is nurder!!!!!
