Two Port St. Lucie dogs impounded for barking at neighbor, could be euthanized

Our animal laws need a complete overhaul!!

My neighbor scares me... Its not legal to euthanize them!!!!! LEAVE THESE BABIES ALONE!! Everybody is scared of something! You just can't kill them because of how they look!! Hell half of the US would be dead if humans went by this logic!!

Unbelievable! I've NEVER heard that dogs can be euthanized due to barking. I PRAY the Judge has barking dogs as well!

It's utterly ridiculous they would even think about killing these dogs for barking. They can also sense your emotions, so, if you don't like the dog, he will sense negativity. Sometimes dogs will bark if they're uneasy or nervous. And sometimes they just bark when they're playing & excited. Either way, it should be illegal to kill a dog for barking. Maybe we should start euthanizing bad neighbors for disturbing the peace in an otherwise peaceful neighborhood.

Dogs are great at detecting lroblembs most humans don't see and are known to bark at someone if they are physically ill (like cancer) or are psychopaths. Check the neighbours.

this is so wrong. What kind of people would kill a dog for just scaring someone? The death penalty folks. There are dogs that can scare some folks without moving off the spot.. Some people are just scared of dogs. They need to be returned to their fosters.

Those poor dogs didn't bite anyone. All they are guilty of is barking. I would think loud music, fighting , etc. But dogs are supposed to bark. It's not a crime! They shouldn't be put down for doing what God created them to do.

Dogs bark. If they are behind a fence or on a leash, just stay away. There is no need for fear! To kill a family's dogs just because they barked at a neighbor is WRONG!
