Two Port St. Lucie dogs impounded for barking at neighbor, could be euthanized

Many dogs bark at people ! So we are uethanizing animals for violating basically a noise ordinance ?? Barking and growling does not equal a dangerous dog ! This is rediculous !

you have to be kidding me, what dogs dont bark and why would you want them not to? My dogs barks as anyone that comes near my property, and im damn happy about it. Does that make him an aggressive dog? No, he sleeps in bed with me and is a giant baby. This is the most asinine thing ive heard in along time.

That's stupid! Dogs shouldn't be euthanized just because of their barking! That's what dogs are supposed to do. Protect! Duh! If that's the case, we should all be "euthanized" cuz we all like to talk, yell, and scream!!! I tell ya! People are coming up with stupid crap as time goes on!

Barking does not indicate aggression. They are doing what comes natural to them. Dogs bark! This equivalent to calling police because your neighbors baby is crying.

Only in This country dogs are not allowed to bark. I think THIS IS THE BIGGEST ANIMAL CRUELTY TO KILL DOGS FOR BARKING. People who make Laws like this should be FIRED from their jobs and do something else for a living.

Just because a dog barks is not a reason to deam them dangerous. That is like saying if your neighbor yells at you they should be labeled dangerous. Let the poor dogs live they never hurt anyone.

I cannot believe that barking is an offense. As long as the laws are enforced for not picking up after your dog and they are restrained properly, as well as proper animal care .... well the list goes on statutorily. I want my dog to bark to give me a heads up. These dogs should not be put down or labeled aggressive unless they have bitten or signs of such aggression are displayed.

Dogs bark. They are protecting their home or just want attention. Just because some neighbor doesn't like dogs or has a personal vendetta is not a reason to put dogs down. The did not bite or hurt anyone.
