Two Port St. Lucie dogs impounded for barking at neighbor, could be euthanized

There are other solutions. This is ridiculous.

Barking is NOT a crime unless it goes on for hours or at night! These dogs have not attacked or bitten anyone - WHY are they classified as Dangerous?? The one is just a PUPPY, you morons!! This is beyond wrong!!!

This is unjust, unfair and simply terrible, have the neighbours all been interviewed, have the dogs been assessed by a professional. Even so the complaint is barking, dogs bark that's a dog! How do the neibours know if these dogs are dangerous have they taken the time to pay a visit to the dogs. Please tell me this is not real. I feel sick. Come on USA save theses dogs.

It is so wrong to even consider putting these dogs down. They did nothing wrong - dogs bark to warn others that this is their territory. It's normal!

I have neighbors who blare mariachi music at 2am. That's far more offensive than a couple dogs barking. Can I have them "euthanized"? Seriously, though. This is vile!

give them a chance for training or a doption to someone who can handle them. we let murderers live, dogs should have an equal chance.

I agree with Ms. Rivera, these dogs should not be killed for barking, I hope they are not left outside day and night. I would like to know the whole story. If they totally outside dogs, maybe they should be relocated to have proper homes.

Dogs are suppose to bark. They are protecting their place and owner. As long as you remove them when they bark all night or all night long is ok. No reason to kill them return them to the owner, Please

How asinine to destroy to beautiful dogs because they bark. This is so outrageous to think our society has stooped this low. I wonder if the next to be put down will be children for screaming and yelling when they are playing outside. These dogs are not vicious. The only viciousness in the entire situation is the human response to destroy these dogs.

It's within a dog's nature to bark, just as it is is within a dog's nature to want to protect its family. With all of the dogs ago don't have families and who are abused and tortured every day, these dogs have s loving family and a chance at a happy life and you want to murder them for barking? How would you like it if someone took your child away from you and murdered it because he spoke too loudly. That's what you're doing to these dogs. Let them live their lives and be happy with their family, don't take their lives for doing what comes naturally to a dog and they can be broken of.

Dogs bark, that's their job to alert their human of a new stimulus. What is this world coming to if we kill living creatures for being themselves?
